Today, October 29th was a day in history when Adolphe Menjou, an American actor died. He was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania of French and Irish descent. He was raised as a Roman Catholic. He graduated from Cornell University with an engineering degree. He made his first movie called The Blue Envelope Mysteryin 1916. He contributed to his time period by serving as a Captain in the Ambulance Service in World War 1. When he came back from the War he stared in movies like The Sheik and The Three Musketeers. Adolphe played many supporting roles in silent movies too.
